Herndon, VA – Constellis, a global leader in risk management solutions, and Vector, a premier provider of solutions for the warfighter, today announced a strategic teaming agreement designed to elevate training for small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and establish a formal platform to improve operator readiness.
The collaboration combines Constellis’ established experience in counter-UAS and layered defense training with Vector’s Tier 1 operator-led expertise in small-UAS production and advanced training. Together, the companies will deliver scenario-driven training programs designed to simulate actual operational environments and mission requirements.
“As operational environments grow more complex, readiness depends on agile, high-impact training,” said Andy Hartsog, Executive Vice President of Mission Support Services, Constellis. “Our collaboration with Vector ensures critical personnel gain the confidence and precision needed to employ and counter UAS technologies effectively.”
“The agreement between Constellis and Vector marks a serious development in establishing a formal training pipeline for training small UAS operators to anticipate real-world challenges,” said Andy Yakulis, CEO and co-founder of Vector. “We created Vector as a service-based model that prioritizes tactical integration–so the end user is ahead of the evolving threat environment.”
Under the agreement, secure training environments, comprehensive safety management, and operational support will be provided at the 3,600-acre Constellis Training Center in Moyock, NC, with Vector contributing UAS technical proficiency and tactical expertise. The joint effort will further refine curriculum, enhance tactical methodology, and expand scenario-driven training experiences that mirror today’s operational environment.
