BLUFFDALE, UT – Vector, a modern defense-as-a-service company, today announced an agreement with Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a global leader in advanced defense manufacturing, to integrate and supply munitions capabilities for Vector’s kinetically-integrated unmanned aerial systems (UAS) platforms.
Nammo brings decades of expertise in advanced ammunition and energetics to Vector’s Tier-1 operator-led small-UAS development. Together, the companies are producing kinetically-integrated American-made drones with allied-manufactured munitions and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)-compliant supply chains to meet emerging battlefield requirements.
“Teaming with Nammo has paved an exciting path for kinetic integration into Vector’s drones, especially as we continue refining our products to respond to meet the warfighters’ needs,” said Andy Yakulis, Chief Executive Officer of Vector. “The Pentagon urgently needs to fulfill a high demand for small UASs with validated, safe kinetic integration, and we stand ready to scale and meet those needs.”
“Nammo is dedicated to supporting American and global efforts toward developing UAS-compatible, combat-proven, purpose-built munitions scaled for diverse UAS platforms,” said Director of Field Operations Ben Carpenter, Nammo Defense Systems Inc. “This agreement will create systems that meet the urgent operational demands facing warfighters today and in the future and exemplifies the kind of allied industrial cooperation essential for maintaining battlefield dominance.”
