Vector Selected to Participate in Phase I Gauntlet of DOW Drone Dominance Program

Vector

BLUFFDALE, UT – Vector, a modern defense-as-a-service company, announced today that it has been invited to compete in the Phase I Gauntlet of the $1.1 billion Department of War Drone Dominance Program in February.

The Drone Dominance Program is a Department of War initiative designed to rapidly evaluate, iterate, and scale domestically-produced small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) that can deliver decisive advantage to U.S. and allied warfighters. The Phase I Gauntlet will assess operational performance, manufacturability, and scalability of participating systems under realistic mission conditions.

Vector’s selection reflects the team’s extensive and proud service as warfighters themselves, as well as the company’s deep sUAS expertise, superior product, and singular focus on building technologies that offer operational relevant capabilities to our nation's warfighters - today. Vector designs and manufactures its platforms in the United States, prioritizing compliant component availability, repeatable assembly, and production models that move beyond demonstrations and into real-world readiness.

“Drone dominance will not be won in a lab or a slide deck. It will be won on factory floors and in compliant supply chains that hold up under pressure,” said Andy Yakulis, Chief Executive Officer of Vector. “The Department of War has made its priorities clear: build fast, build at scale, and build American. Vector was founded for this moment, and we look forward to proving what our platforms can deliver in an operationally-relevant environment.”

Vector continues to invest in its domestic production capacity to ensure its systems are ready for rapid fielding by its military and law enforcement partners. Pairing scalable manufacturing with operator-informed design and integrated lethality, Vector is restoring America’s industrial depth required for the next generation of unmanned conflict.
