BLUFFDALE, UT – Vector, a modern defense-as-a-service company, today unveiled the Hammer F1, a foldable quadcopter purpose-built to meet U.S. Department of War requirements and the operational needs of America's servicemembers.
The Hammer F1 is a system designed by warfighters for warfighters. From the first requirement to the final configuration, America's operators drove every decision. Fully NDAA compliant, it integrates advanced sensing and precision strike capability into a single, compact system built to perform in the most challenging environments.
Optimized for day and nighttime operations, the Hammer F1 features modular camera configurations and native Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) integration, delivering unparalleled situational awareness across every mission profile. Informed directly by operator requirements, the system is designed to pack and deploy from a single bag, ensuring warfighters can move with the speed the battlefield demands.
With speeds of up to 97 miles per hour and an operational range of up to 25 kilometers, the Hammer F1 supports rapid deployment across dispersed and dynamic battlespaces. By combining reconnaissance and kinetic capability into one attritable platform, it reduces system burden while increasing tactical flexibility at the edge.
Its modular architecture enables operators to reconfigure the Hammer F1 in real time as mission requirements evolve. Interchangeable sensor packages, a fiber optic connector port, a universal payload interface, and an integrated Picatinny rail enable seamless integration of ISR tools, electronic warfare components, and precision strike payloads. This open systems approach, shaped directly by operator feedback, allows units to field mission-specific configurations quickly, keeping pace with the speed of modern combat.
"Warfighters didn't just inform this system; they essentially built it with us,” said Andy Yakulis, CEO and Co-Founder of Vector. “As former operators ourselves, we understood exactly what they needed to win, and we engineered every inch of the Hammer F1 around those requirements. With heavy emphasis on American supply chains and expanded manufacturing capabilities at our Utah factory, Vector is ready to deliver the Hammer F1 at scale to our warfighters.
Manufactured in alignment with rigorous U.S. defense acquisition standards and tested for cyber resiliency in contested spectrum environments, the Hammer F1 is engineered to operate effectively against electronic threats.
The Hammer F1 represents Vector's continued investment in expanding American drone manufacturing and battlefield-tested unmanned capabilities. By embedding warfighter requirements, compliance, and supply chain integrity into the design process from day one, Vector has positioned the Hammer F1 to transition efficiently through Department of War procurement pathways while meeting the uncompromising expectations of frontline units.
