Vector’s Hammer Foldable Quadcopter Earns DCMA Blue List Designation for Rigorous Cybersecurity and Supply-Chain Resiliency

Vector

BLUFFDALE, UT – Vector, a modern warfare-as-a-service company, today announced that its Hammer foldable quadcopter has earned designation on the Defense Contract Management Agency’s (DCMA) Blue List, further validating the platform’s trusted supply chain and alignment with U.S. defense requirements.

‍

Designed by warfighters and produced for the Department of War, the Hammer is a compact, multi-role unmanned system engineered to deliver reconnaissance and precision strike capabilities in a single, rapidly deployable platform. The Blue List designation reinforces Vector’s commitment to building trusted, secure unmanned systems for the American warfighter while strengthening the company’s position within the U.S. drone industrial base.

‍

With speeds of up to 97 miles per hour and an operational range of up to 25 kilometers, the Hammer is designed for rapid employment across dispersed and dynamic battlespaces. Its modular architecture enables operators to configure the system for evolving mission requirements, with interchangeable sensor packages, a fiber optic connector port, universal payload interface, and integrated Picatinny rail supporting the integration of ISR, electronic warfare, and precision strike capabilities.

‍

“Blue List designation for the Hammer is another important validation of our approach to building trusted, mission-ready systems for the Department of War,” said Andy Yakulis, CEO and Co-Founder of Vector. “Supply chain security is a battlefield capability. If you cannot trust what’s inside your system, you cannot trust the system. We built Hammer to eliminate that uncertainty, pairing warfighter-driven design with a trusted American supply chain.”

‍

The Hammer is manufactured in alignment with rigorous U.S. defense acquisition and cybersecurity standards and incorporates a supply chain designed to support trusted production at scale. The platform has also been tested for cyber resiliency in contested spectrum environments, helping ensure reliable performance against electronic threats.

‍

The Blue List designation adds to Vector’s growing portfolio of trusted unmanned systems. The company’s Longbow VTOL platform previously earned DCMA Blue and Green List designation following independent third-party assessment by DarkWolf Solutions and vetting through the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), achieving a 100% Supply Chain Risk Management rating.

‍

The Hammer reflects Vector’s broader investment in expanding American drone manufacturing and delivering battlefield-relevant unmanned capabilities at the speed required by modern defense operations. By integrating warfighter requirements, trusted supply chains, modular architecture, and compliance considerations from the outset, Vector is building systems designed to move efficiently from development to operational deployment at the pace of battlefield operations.
